Faith is not separate from politics. In fact it's important for politics. But that's secular faith in this life--not religious faith in some other life up there. Please read Martin Häaglund's "The Life: Secular Faith and Spiritual Freedom." Its amendment does protect freedom of and from religion. But its belongs in the private realm--not the public realm.
