I worked as a community organizer in Toronto and was enchanted by the NDP. I would approve an NDP in the US but they would have to be able to negotiate with a winning party to push its agenda. This seems to happen only under a parliamentary form of government. I don’t see that happening now in a two party system of winner take all.
