Right! But I prefer to say there are two kinds of postmodernism. Both philosophically close the Cartesian gap between mind and matter. Both question even deny the certainty of beliefs, scientific and political, cultural (religious) on which we base our thinking and behavior. The first does lead to cynical relativity and nihilism; the second leads to on going search for truth based on evidence (both subjective and objective experience, again mind and matter). If you call the Trumpian truth postmodern, then I call the truth we seek and find in our search transmodern. The first is individualist, even solipsistically selfish. Transmodernism is collective or social.
